Re: Again

Calibrate: Make precise measurement

Recalibrate: Measure precisely…again.

On the first week of the year, let’s set this off right.

I believe it’s vital to take time and write down your goals. These are my categories:

  • Me

  • Marriage

  • Ministry

Here are my 2 major elements:

  • Vision – Where

  • Strategy – How 🔑🔑🔑

First, set tangible goals that are reachable. Break them down by each quarter so they’re not so daunting. Writing it down helps you know when you’ve reached them.

Secondly, ask “How?”. Practically, how will we reach them? A question I ask is, “What’s it look like on Monday morning?”. It’s easy to set lofty vision that we never create a strategic plan for.

A vision without strategy is a mere fantasy.

Where there’s vision, strategy, and execution, fruition is only separated by time.

An extra step is to get accountability. Find one friend, that knows how to dream, to hold you accountable. If you’re intense, create a google form to complete each week to submit to your accountability. (Love this)

Write your household mission statement. This is your why. This is the lens through which you see and build everything.

Happy 2020.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV

2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
